Šárka Hrbáčková
As early as during her studies at the Conservatory in České Budějovice, Šárka Hrbáčková appeared as a soloist on the stage of the Opera of the South Bohemian Theatre. In 2005 she was engaged by the Silesian Theatre in Opava, where audiences could see her in the roles of Adalgisa (Bellini - Norma), Ježibaba and the Foreign Princess (Dvořák - Rusalka), the Queen (Weinberger - Schwanda the Bagpiper), Azucena (Verdi - Il Trovatore), Delilah (Saint-Saëns - Samson and Delilah) and Hansel (Humperdinck - Hansel and Gretel). In spring 2009 she had the opportunity to portray the role of Ohna in the opera Kaguya-hime by the Japanese composer and conductor Hideaki Hirai, and for the first time in the Czech Republic, to render this opera conducted by Hirai at the Municipal House in Prague. She is a regular guest at the Opera of the South Bohemian Theatre (Maddalena, Santuzza, and Carmen, under the baton of Mario De Rose). Besides, she is a guest of the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Pilsen and the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre in Ostrava. Šárka Hrbáčková has appeared on stages and concert podiums in Germany, Austria, Portugal, Spain and Poland.
