A cultured middle-class family and their long-time friend, all of whom are hundred percent supporters of liberal thinking, are about to sit down to dinner. However, as Vincent announces the name he is going to give his son, whose birth is drawing near, he lets the genie out of the bottle. The polished conversation turns into a ruthless verbal battle escalating into blows below the belt. A real explosion occurs when a family secret comes to light.
